Food was absolutely fantastic, really friendly owner who interacted with all the customers and made everyone feel welcome. Partner got the breakfast bun which he said was absolutely amazing and I got the French toast with banana and salted caramel which if you have a sweet tooth is 10/10. Only thing I’m disappointed about is we’re not local so can’t visit all the time.
Core Coffee and Kitchen is a lovely spot for great coffee and an excellent brunch. The coffee is reliably good, we particularly enjoyed the Matcha Latte and the Cortado, both of which were perfectly made. As for the food, the Wild Mushroom on Toast and the Core Veggie were absolutely delicious. The flavours were well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality. It’s clear that care goes into the menu. Service was another highlight, the woman who served us was really friendly and welcoming. We even noticed her cute ladybug nail art, which added a nice personal touch!
Wow! Hands down one of the best breakfast places in the country! The food is simply incredible and well worth popping by. Alongside that all of the staff is super friendly and helpful. Overall an amazing experience. The only draw back is that I live over 1h away from there
Very nice full English breakfast. Great service from the lovely Maddie. The latte was v nice. If you could have some white pudding as an option too that would be the best breakfast in Liverpool.
visited Liverpool on Saturday and sought a gluten-free sausage sandwich, utilizing the Find Me Gluten-Free application. This establishment was the highest-ranked result. The experience was exceptional; the cafe was charming, the staff welcoming, and the food outstanding. The gluten-free menu was extensive and offered comparable pricing to the standard menu. Importantly, separate cooking equipment was dedicated to gluten-free preparation. As a highly sensitive coeliac, I experienced no adverse reactions and found the food delicious. The only suggestion would be to include gluten-free black pudding on the menu.
Managed to get a table on a busy Saturday morning. We had to wait but the staff always kept us up to date and seated us as soon as possible. Drink and food orders taken quickly too. Great choice for breakfast, in particular the croissant with egg, bacon and black pudding, really one of the nicest breakfasts I’ve ever had. Served with care and fully recommend
I came here for a midweek brunch on a trip over from Manchester. Got a lovely warm welcome from the staff, and ate possibly the best mushrooms on toast I've ever had! Delicious food, great service. I would definitely recommend.
Had breakfast at this restaurant today & it was amazing. Staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble & the food is very good. Will definitely be going back. We were a party of 4, and two of us had the cooked breakfast & two of us had the French toast. The cappuccino was amazing.
